“We support young entrepreneurial candidates in many ways such as training, mentorship, pre-prototype development and access to customer network where they will need to be supported to put their business ideas into practice and get on the path from an idea to a product and market,” said KWORKS Coordinator Burak Yaman who stated that thanks to the experience gained since 2014, this year marked the first of a series of the Support Program for Individual Young Entrepreneurs (BIGG). “We are offering candidates the opportunity to come together with the executives of organizations and companies such as Arçelik, Koçfinans, Zer, Tofaş and Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV). Starting from this year, we are taking the program one step further for the grant given by TÜBİTAK by training young entrepreneurs who have an idea to contribute to the fields of digitalization and communication. We also provide guidance and methods to help maximize benefits from the grant. Don’t forget, we are by your side at every stage of the process. By guiding candidates and joining the path together at every step we can help get you one step closer to making that dream to become a reality. Lately, 1,354 business ideas were sent to the implementing agencies within TÜBİTAK BIGG’s scope. Of those, 551 business plans were selected and submitted to TÜBİTAK with 220 entrepreneurs being eligible to receive the grant support of TRY 200,000,” Yaman added.
