We are extending our expertise in supply chain management into a new service area.
As KoçZer, we have successfully undertaken the warehouse leasing and procurement processes for a new spare parts warehouse located in Akyurt, Ankara, built for Ford Otosan. With this project, we have transferred our expertise in procurement and supply chain management into a brand-new service model. In line with Ford Otosan’s goal of increasing operational efficiency and maximizing customer satisfaction, we implemented this project in collaboration with Dinçer Logistics. The new warehouse, developed under our newly introduced leasing and procurement model, marks the first time we have applied this approach. As part of the project, we took on the responsibility for leasing a total area of 25,000 square meters of indoor and 25,000 square meters of outdoor space, as well as overseeing the entire construction process.
Our General Manager, Serhan Turfan, stated: “The Ankara Akyurt Ford Otosan Spare Parts Warehouse is the result of a meticulous nine-month effort involving multiple stakeholders. With this project, we have launched our warehouse leasing and procurement service for the first time. I would like to thank Ford Otosan as well as our partners Dinçer Logistics and Yakupoğlu Leather Industry for their collaboration at every stage of the process.” With our new service model, we aim to enhance not only logistics operations but also the flexibility and efficiency of supply chain structures. One of the key outcomes of this project is the ability to provide fast and uninterrupted spare parts supply, especially for Ford dealers in Ankara and the surrounding regions, as well as for the eastern parts of Turkey. The opening event, attended by executives from KoçZer and Dinçer Logistics, Ford Otosan representatives, and regional Ford dealers, showcased the practical impact of this strong collaboration. As KoçZer, we will continue to renew our supply chain management capabilities and develop strategic, value-added services for our business partners.
