Turkey’s 50 Most Powerful Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders Announced


Procurement and supply chain management are becoming the strategic core of institutions in 2025, an era marked by uncertainties and digital transformation. The "Turkey's 50 Most Powerful Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders" list, featured in Economist magazine's "Procurement and Supply Leaders" issue prepared with the contributions of KoçZer, highlights the sector's ongoing transformation and the leaders' roles in this process.

Advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, and digitalization are transforming the pursuit of not only efficiency but also resilience and agility in the supply chain world. Procurement and supply leaders are at the forefront of this transformation. This annual research by Economist magazine continues to take the pulse of the sector in 2025. This year's main theme has been determined as "Leaders Managing Change."


The leaders on the list stand out not only for their operational successes but also for their ability to turn crises into opportunities, their sustainability and ESG-compliant approaches, cost control, and next-generation competencies such as AI-supported decision-making.


Turkey's Leaders Shape the Future


The "Turkey's 50 Most Powerful Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders" list offers an important reference to the sector as a reflection of future-ready, agile, and resilient supply strategies. This year, Umut Baba, President of Trade at BİM Ticaret, who manages a procurement budget of 364.9 billion TL, once again secured the top spot. Cem Kural, Assistant General Manager responsible for Procurement and Supply Chain at Beko, came in second, managing a budget of 250 billion TL.
