We extend our B2B capabilities into B2C with Openbox

With features such as automation, self-service and contactless experiences, Openbox represents the future of retail and will accelerate its growth under the KoçZer umbrella.

Retail is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by demand for speed, the need for 24/7 access and changing consumer habits. At the centre of this shift are automation, self-service and contactless experiences.

As KoçZer, we have taken an important step in response to this transformation and, as of 1 April 2026, have incorporated Openbox Automat Systems, a company shaping the future of retail, into our organisation.

Founded in 2023 under the Koç Group umbrella, Openbox has quickly established a leading position in its sector, supported by an extensive operational network spanning 40 cities with more than 2,000 state-of-the-art automat machines. Moving beyond traditional automat machine solutions, it offers applications for micro-markets, smart lockers and a range of use cases, making retail more accessible and practical. Its solutions cover a wide spectrum, from food and beverages to personal care, workplace safety and recycling, providing a single point of access for diverse needs.

By combining KoçZer’s expertise in strategic procurement, sourcing management, supply chain and digital products with Openbox’s on-the-ground capabilities, we are extending the infrastructure we have developed in B2B into the B2C retail. In doing so, we are bringing next-generation retail solutions directly to end users and making them accessible to a broader audience.
